15 Days of the best of Kenya Safari

After breakfast, depart Nairobi at 07:00 and traverse through the Great Rift valley. Arrive at the lodge where you will be staying on a full-board basis. Check in and then have lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will take a game drive through the Maasai Mara until dusk. You will be enchanted by the silhouette of a wildlife sundowner. Return to camp or lodge, unwind, dine, and participate in evening activities.

You get a head start for your game drive in the early morning. This is your opportunity to witness animals as they awaken from their nocturnal roosts at sunrise. Breakfast is served upon your return to camp. Spend the morning at your leisure. Return to your afternoon game drive after lunch to observe the animals in a new light. The African backdrop will mesmerize and leave you breathless with its vivid sunset, vast rolling grasslands, and tranquility. Later you will Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight

After an early morning breakfast, depart for Naivasha, the location of Lake Naivasha and Hell Gates National Park. Both attractions are exciting and unique in their own ways. At Hell's Gate, you can explore its gorges, walk or ride a bicycle within the park, go rock climbing or swim in Olkaria geothermal. Exploring the lake's avifauna and resident hippos by boat is also a peaceful way to enjoy the environment.

All meals and accommodation are at your Naivasha lodge.

After breakfast, and drive south towards the luxurious Sweet-waters Tented Camp. You will be able to sight one of Kenya’s greatest attractions – Mount Kenya.  Arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive within the sanctuary. This private game reserve is well known for its Rhino and Chimpanzee sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast, you'll get in the safari vehicle and drive even further north to reach the Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, where you will be provided with full board during your stay. Later that afternoon you will have a game drive in reserve.

Full day in the reserve with early and afternoon game drives respectively. All meals and overnight at your lodge or camp.

The region of Samburu is wellknown for its unusual wildlife, which is more commonly found to the north of the equator. The gerenuk, the reticulated giraffe, the Beisa oryx, and the Grevy's zebra are the names of these animals. You will also have fun seeing animals like elephants, lions, cheetahs, and so on. After dinner, guests will spend the night in the lodge or tented camp.

You will drive south up through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantations in the cool Kenyan highlands to the Aberdare rainforest, home to many rare species. Located in this verdant wood, the countryside hotel you're staying at will serve as your lunchtime transition point. Aberdare country club is where you will leave most of your luggage for the night before being transferred to the Ark lodge. You will watch wildlife at the nearby waterhole and salt lick from one of the many comfortable decks, balconies, and lounge areas. It's a good night after dinner.

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, which is located just north of Mount Kilimanjaro, in time for lunch. After an afternoon game drive, return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight accommodations.

Amboseli National Park, home to the Maasai tribe, is home to over 400 species of breeding birds and teems with rare and wonderful wildlife. The lodge's rustic charm appeals not only to safari enthusiasts, but also to those seeking to conquer the mountain's snow-capped peaks.

You will depart Amboseli and continue your journey south to Tsavo, where you are booked in at Kilaguni or similar on full board basis.  Go for a game drive and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo National Park is divided into two, the east and the west and is located southeast of Nairobi.  Here, Rhinos, Elephants, Warthogs, Baboons and Hyenas roam freely.

Spend the full day in Tsavo and catch the animals you may have missed previously.  Return to the lodge for dinner. Overnight.
